J. B. Schramm
J. B. Schramm is the Founder and Board Member of College Summit. J. B. founded College Summit in 1993 while director of teen centre in basement of low-income housing project in Washington. J. B. is a recipient of many awards including the Gleitsman Citizen Activist Award, First Decade Award from Harvard Divinity School and United States Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 from Schwab Foundation. J. B. is a graduate from Yale University and Harvard Divinity School.

For its impact in helping communities raise college enrolment rates for low-income students, it has twice been featured in an annual report on initiatives to diversify higher education by the US Department of Education.
