Kristin Peterson

Kristin Peterson is a tech and social entrepreneur whose focus is accelerating Internet access and tech for development in emerging markets. She is currently an Advisor to X (formerly Google X) on Project Taara and an Advisor to Mercy Corps’ Agrifin Accelerator. Prior to this role, she was the Co-Founder/CMO of EveryLayer, a tech start-up that enables ISPs to bring to market high-speed, affordable broadband and Surf, a Kenyan ISP pioneering low cost internet access to low and middle income consumers. Surf and EveryLayer merged with BRCK in 2019. Prior to EveryLayer/Surf, she co-founded and was the Chief Executive Officer of Inveneo, a non-profit social enterprise focused on connecting those who need it most. Kristin also worked in Silicon Valley and held several positions at AT&T in international and domestic product development, sales and marketing. Honors include Advisor to the Clinton Global Initiative Program Committee (2013), Member of Clinton Global Initiative (7 years), ITU World Telecommunication and Information Society Award (2011).
