Rob Acker is the CEO of Salesforce.org, the social enterprise branch of Salesforce working to make the world's #1 CRM available to and effective for the nonprofit, education, and philanthropy sectors. Rob believes those working to change the world should have the tools and technology to do so and he was integral in creating the organization's revolutionary self-sustaining business model.
Rob applied his results-oriented and data-driven practices, learned from more than 15 years of experience in various leadership positions at Salesforce.com, to his role at Salesforce.org, growing it into one of the most innovative corporate philanthropies in the world. The organization has since scaled its customer base by 10 times, annual grants by 4 times, and become a leading example of the power of technology-for-good. He has spoken at the World Economic Forum in Davos, The United Nations General Assembly, and Dreamforce, Salesforce's annual user conference, and the world's largest nonprofit technology conference.
Prior to joining Salesforce, Rob worked at Oracle for four years and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from Gonzaga University, where he graduated cum laude. He is a self-taught musician and lives in Marin County with his wife and three kids.
