Rob Acker

Chief Executive Officer, Salesforce.org, the social enterprise branch of Salesforce working to make a world-leading CRM available to and effective for the non-profit, education and philanthropy sectors. Believes those working to change the world should have the tools and technology to do so; was integral in creating the organization's revolutionary self-sustaining business model. Applied results-oriented and data-driven practices, learned from more than 15 years of experience in various leadership positions at Salesforce.com, to role at Salesforce.org, growing it into one of the most innovative corporate philanthropies in the world. The organization has since scaled its customer base by 10 times, annual grants by 4 times, and become a leading example of the power of technology-for-good. Has spoken at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the United Nations General Assembly, and Dreamforce, Salesforce's annual user conference, and the world's largest non-profit technology conference. Prior to joining Salesforce, worked at Oracle for four years. BA (Hons) in Political Science and Economics from Gonzaga University. Self-taught musician.
