Chris Underhill

Chris Underhill is a leading systems entrepreneur on global mental health and wellbeing practice and runs his own professional mentoring practice. He is currently CEO of the Elders Council for Social Entrepreneurs co-founded with friends Andrea Coleman and Mel Young. He is the founder of BasicNeeds, Action on Disability and Development, and Thrive. Chris is on the Global Board of Leaders Quest, a board member of Ashoka UK and Ireland. He is the Chair of the Catalyst 2030 Mental Health Collaboration with over 130 member organisations. He is a Senior Fellow with the Ashoka Fellowship, a recipient of the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship and a Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur. In 2000, Chris was made an MBE for his services to disability and development by HRH the Queen.
