Chris Underhill

Chris Underhill is a leading systems entrepreneur on global mental health and wellbeing practice and is a professional mentor. He currently co-founding the Elders Council for Social Entrepreneurs with friends Andrea Coleman and Mel Young. He is the co-founder of citiesRISE and is the founder of BasicNeeds, Action on Disability and Development, and Thrive. Chris is on the Global Board of Leaders Quest, a board member of Ashoka UK and Ireland and has just stepped down from being founding Chair of Carers Worldwide. He is a Senior Fellow with the Ashoka Fellowship, a recipient of the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship and a Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur. In 2000, Chris was made an MBE for his services to disability and development by HRH the Queen.
